Exhibition Stall Design: Standing Out on a Crowded Floor

Visitors decide in seconds whether to walk in. These design principles help your stall win the walk-in.

Exhibition Stalls 1 min read

On a busy exhibition floor your stall competes with dozens of others for a few seconds of attention. Clear design does more than clever design.

One message, readable from a distance

Use a single, bold headline at eye level above the crowd. If a visitor cannot tell what you do from ten metres away, they will keep walking.

Open layouts invite people in

Keep the front of the stall open and low, with the conversation area just inside. Blocking the entrance with a counter puts a barrier between you and your visitors.

Light and flow

  • Use focused lighting on products and the brand wall.
  • Plan a clear route through the stall.
  • Keep storage hidden and staff clearly identifiable.

A stall should feel like an invitation, not a display case.
